Clinical Presentation
A 12-year-old with right shoulder pain after trauma.

Reversed left shoulder radiograph for comparison. Right shoulder 1 week later.
(A,B) Anteroposterior radiographs of the right shoulder: There is subtle widening of the growth plate laterally (arrow). It is not apparent on the internal rotation film. (C) Anteroposterior radiograph of the left shoulder: the growth plate is more uniform in appearance. (D) Anteroposterior radiograph of the right shoulder 1 week later: there is now a periosteal reaction, confirming the fracture (arrow).
