Clinical Presentation
The patient is a 57-year-old woman with a deficiency of protein C. She presents with acute swelling of a lower extremity.
(A) Selected image of a lower extremity venogram demonstrates irregular filling defects within the lumen of the femoral vein, occlusion of the common femoral vein, and lack of opacification of the iliac vein. (B) Selected image of a femoral venogram from the same patient demonstrates a large filling defect within the lumen of the femoral vein. (C)
