Case History


A 47-year-old woman with left axillary lumps and a breast lump. She had bilateral augmentation mammoplasties with silicone implants 25 years ago. Seven years ago, they became contractured and the right implant ruptured, so both were replaced at that time.


Physical Examination



•   left breast: palpable mass at 3:00. Three palpable lymph nodes are identified.


•   right breast: normal exam
