FINDINGS Figures 178-1 and 178-2. NCCT through two levels of the posterior fossa. There is protrusion of the cerebellum, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), and covering meninges through a large occipital bone defect (arrows). This produces a large bulge in the suboccipital region. The fourth ventricle is effaced.
