The patient is a 58-year-old man with history of head and neck cancer.

(A) Image from a selective digital subtraction arteriogram (DSA) of the right common carotid artery demonstrates a concentric, short, relatively smooth stenosis of the mid right common carotid artery. Mild irregularity of the right internal carotid artery is also noted. The right external carotid artery is patent. (B)
