Imaging Findings
(A, B) Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT): Axial images at two different levels. There is a large heterogeneous mass in the anterior mediastinum, with enlarged mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes and a left-sided pleural effusion (arrows).
Differential Diagnosis
• Lymphoma (diff use large B-cell): A large mass in the anterior mediastinum associated with enlarged hilar lymph nodes or lymphadenopathy in other mediastinal compartments is a common presentation of mediastinal lymphoma.
