Clinical Presentation
A 17-year-old girl presents with intermittent lower gastrointestinal bleeding.
(A) Small-bowel follow-through shows an air-filled structure (arrows) in the right lower quadrant producing mass effect on the adjacent barium-filled small-bowel loops. (B) Compression view shows a wide-mouthed saccular structure (arrow) filled with debris and communicating with the terminal ileum. (C) Delayed view shows this saccular structure (arrow ) along the terminal ileum some distance from the ileocecal valve (arrowhead). The sac is now filled with barium and debris.
