Clinical Presentation
A 46-year-old woman presents with pelvic pain and menorrhagia.
(A) Left internal iliac arteriogram shows large branches of the uterine artery (UA) supplying fibroids (arrows). The UA was embolized with polyvinyl alcohol particles. (B) Right internal iliac arteriogram shows a very small UA supplying fibroids (arrow). (C) Selected right ovarian (large arrow) arteriogram shows direct supply to the uterus (small arrows). The uterine branches were embolized.
