Clinical Presentation

The patient is a 57-year old man scheduled for chemoembolization of a hepatocellular carcinoma.

Three-dimensional volume-rendered computed tomographic angiogram (CTA) shows a common arterial trunk supplying the splenic (arrowheads), superior mesenteric (small arrows), and common hepatic (large arrow) arteries.

Differential Diagnosis

• Celicomesenteric trunk: Indicated by a common origin of the celiac artery and superior mesenteric artery (SMA).
