Case 89 A 47-year-old woman with breast cancer and a history of cord compression presents with pelvic cramping. (A) Lateral projection during a double-contrast barium enema shows widening of the presacral space (arrows), effacement and narrowing of a long segment of rectosigmoid colon (arrowheads), and marked, diffuse sclerosis of the bones, consistent with metastatic disease from the known breast cancer.
