A 45-year-old woman with dyspnea on exertion and normal pulmonary capillary wedge pressure.
Imaging Findings
(A) Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) of the chest (lung windows) through the apices demonstrates bilateral smooth interlobular septal thickening and scattered centrilobular ground-glass opacities (arrows). (B) Contrast-enhanced CT of the chest (lung windows) through the upper lobes shows more significant bilateral ground-glass opacity (arrows). (C) Contrast-enhanced CT of the chest (lung windows) at the level of the main pulmonary artery demonstrates a significantly enlarged main pulmonary artery (black arrow). Note the size discordance in comparison with the aorta. Interlobular septal thickening and ground-glass opacity are also seen at this level (white arrow). (D) Contrast-enhanced CT of the chest (lung windows) through the heart also shows very mild lymphadenopathy (arrows). The left atrium and visualized pulmonary veins are normal.
