Lymphoma, Liver


Primary lymphoma is very rare. Secondary lymphoma of the liver is encountered in more than 50 % of patients with Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. On MRI focal deposits present with T1-w hypointense and T2-w hyperintense signal intensity. Transient perilesional enhancement has been reported.


Lymphoma, Pancreas


Pancreatic lymphoma is most commonly a B-cell subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and can be classified as either primary or secondary. Primary pancreatic lymphoma is rare, representing less than 0.5 % of pancreatic tumours. Secondary lymphoma of the pancreas can be seen in up to 30 % of patients with widespread non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Pancreatic lymphoma typically affects middle-aged patients and immunocompromised patients, with an incidence as high as 5 % in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) patients. The presentation is often non-specific, without the typical symptoms of lymphoma.
