Stenvers plane (oblique coronal, i.e. long axis of the pyramid)

 Using an MPR 3D viewer, anterior semicircular canal is identified on reformatted axial sections. The Stenvers reformat runs perpendicular to the plane defined by the anterior semicircular canal.
