A 40-year-old woman presents with a palpable left breast lump.


Physical Examination



•   left breast: palpable lump in left lateral breast


•   right breast: normal exam


Mammogram


Mass (Fig. 13–1)



•   margin: well defined


•   shape: oval


•   density: equal
