Case History
A 39-year-old woman presents with new left breast lump.
Physical Examination
• left breast: palpable mass at the 4:00 position; a second mammographic mass is not palpable
• right breast: normal exam
Mammogram
Mass (Fig. 38–1)
• margin: circumscribed
• shape: oval
• density: high density
