Case 47
Clinical Presentation
A 33-year-old man has an incidental finding on a computed tomography stone protocol performed to evaluate flank pain.
Imaging Findings
Noncontrast computed tomography of the pelvis shows two structures (arrows) with dense calcifications, one on either side of the urinary bladder. Calcifications are also noted in the small branches (arrowheads) of the internal iliac arteries, whereas the larger external iliac arteries (asterisks) are free of calcification.
