Clinical Presentation
A 20-year-old man with a history of left tibial plateau stress fracture to confirm healing.
(A) Three-hour–delayed anterior and posterior whole-body bone scan image demonstrates focal uptake involving the left distal radius, wrist, and hand (arrow). Uptake is also noted in the left antecubital region, as well as possible skin uptake on the left arm. No tibial plateau uptake is evident, suggesting completion of fracture healing. (B) Spot views of both hands demonstrate increased radiopharmaceutical uptake in the distal radius as well as multiple bones diffusely in the left hand and wrist, most pronounced along the radial aspect (circle).
