Some abdominal centimetric nodules due to carcinosis are found, showing slight glucose uptake, SUV max 2.3 (Fig. 2.1c). Millimetric nodule at the right diaphragmatic pleura, with pathological metabolism, SUV max 1.1 (Fig. 2.3).

The left kidney is small and does not show neither uptake nor washout of the marker, due to severe obstructive hydronephrosis, as shown in CT: it’s a typical morpho-functional case of ‘excluded kidney’ (Fig. 2.4).
