125 In soft tissue lesions, a fluid-fluid level is a nonspecific finding usually related to prior hemorrhage. Soft tissue hematomas can have fluid-fluid levels. A rare lesion containing fluid-fluid levels is angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma,1 which is a low-grade neoplasm affecting children and young adults. This is usually superficial, and most common in the extremities followed by the trunk.
