Once again, it is my distinct pleasure to thank Lara Brandão for guest editing this issue of Neuroimaging Clinics . In this issue, Dr Brandão focuses on advanced imaging evaluation of adult brain tumors. This issue is a very nice combination of the “traditional” imaging of brain tumors and also a focus on the current “value” that advanced imaging can provide in the diagnosis and management of various intracranial neoplasms.
The range of disorders covered is extraordinary, and this is a wonderful review for neuroradiologists and radiologists who routinely interpret neuroimaging studies. It is also an excellent reference for those who will soon be taking recertification exams, like myself (sad face)! I want thank and congratulate all of the authors for their wonderful contributions. Their expertise is clearly evident by the depth of knowledge presented in each article. Your contributions are greatly appreciated by all of us.
I again thank “Superwoman!” I gave Lara that nickname in my last foreword, and my admiration and respect for her have grown even more. I am still in awe as to how she accomplishes so much with all of her other personal and professional obligations. The quality is always superb and completed in a timely manner, which make editors very happy. Lara, thank you again for all you do and continued success in future endeavors!
