28 Tuberous Sclerosis and Sturge-Weber Syndrome Tuberous sclerosis is an autosomal dominant (and spontaneously occurring) condition defined by facial adenoma sebaceum, seizures, and mental retardation. Intracranial findings are hamartomatous lesions consisting of subependymal nodules and cortical tubers.
