109 Advanced Receiver Coil Design


New innovative receiver coil designs provide markedly improved SNR together with the ability to perform parallel imaging in any direction. In addition, such coils can be effectively used with high parallel imaging factors. These advances make possible a marked reduction in scan time, enabling as well scan techniques that would otherwise not be feasible due to acquisition time. The parallel imaging capabilities play an important role both in image quality and scan time.
